Hadley is in a bad marriage. Her husband, Glen, loves her money more than he does her, if he even loved Hadley at all. The soon-to-be-ex-husband is such an ass. I found myself wanting to reach into the book and choke the snot out of him. Anyone who has ever gone through an ugly divorce can identify with the roller coaster of emotions that Hadley suffers.
The humor in this novella is great. I actually chuckled out loud at some of the lines. And, it’s obvious that Hadley’s two best friends are going to carry out this series, but that’s fine by me. I liked both the gal pals and look forward to reading their stories.
If you love a fast-paced tale full of humor and craziness, this novella is for you.
